A Christmas campaign for Nike Air Jordan featuring Santa Claus.

Proposition

Santa only works one night a year. So, what is he doing the rest of the time?

Everybody knows Santa Claus. He is a celebrity.

Idea

Santa getting caught by the paparazzi.

OPENING SCENE

Black screen fades into an energetic montage of flashing cameras and red carpets.

SCENE 4: THE GRAMMYS

A Grammy Awards host walks through the audience, speaking to celebrities. As the host approaches Santa’s table, he laughs and gestures, but in the broadcast footage, there’s just an empty chair where he sat.

STORYBOARD

SCENE 1: FASHION EVENT

A high-profile fashion show. The camera glides along the front row where celebrities watch intently. Santa sits among them, wearing his signature red suit and boots. Cameras flash, but in every picture, he’s blurred – just a shadow among the stars.

SCENE 5: THE FINAL MOMENT

A New York street at night. A taxi van pulls up. Santa steps out. This time, he’s swapped his boots for Nike Air Jordans. He adjusts his sunglasses, looking cool and confident.

Flash! Cameras go off. A crowd of paparazzi captures the moment. This time, Santa appears clearly in every shot.

SCENE 2: SUPER BOWL

Santa is in a VIP suite at the Super Bowl, surrounded by celebrities. He cheers and claps, blending into the high-energy crowd. Photographers capture the moment, but when the images appear online, he’s barely visible, like a ghost.

SCENE 6: TABLOID COVER

The screen cuts to the tabloid cover: “Santa Spotted in Jordans – Proof He’s Real” with the tagline ‘Legends Recognizing Legends.’

SCENE 3: THE OSCARS

Santa is seated in the front row at the Oscars. He laughs at the host’s jokes, applauds the winners, and even wipes away a tear during a tribute. Cameras flash, capturing the glitz and glamour, but when the photos hit the internet, he doesn't appear.

CLOSING SCENE

The Nike swoosh appears on screen, followed by ‘Air Jordan’ logo.
